Twisted Quads is proud to present the Midwest Drone Battle v2!

The Midwest Drone Battle in 2016 was a huge success and brought pilots in from all over the USA.  With that success combined with a full year of running other events we will be able to bring this event to the next level!  We are opening the event to 40 pilots, and utilize the TBS Event Tracker RSSI Based timing system.

The Midwest Drone Battle v2 will be put on by 515FPV and Midwest Rotor Sports. There will be cash prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd place as well as a prize table which we expect to exceed last years!

Podium Finish

  • 1st Place - $1000
  • 2nd Place - $500
  • 3rd Place - $250

Important Information

  • Active AMA Membership is required.
  • 25mw VTX Required
  • Raceband Frequencies: 5658(R), 5695(L), 5732(R), 5769(L), 5806(R), 5843(L), 5880(R), 5917(L)
  • RHCP and LHCP antennas required.
  • Connex Digital Systems are not allowed as we are unable to accurately time them.

Safety Table Requirements

  • Props off, lipo in hand.
  • Demonstrate appropriate frequency is set.
  • Demonstrate failsafe operational (motor stop when transmitter turned off)
  • Sign Waivers
