Come join us for the first annual SKSS Blue Hen ALES Challenge. We have a large manicured grass field with two 1000’ runways. The event will follow the Polecat format with 10-minute rounds and 5-meter tapes. We will provide lunch both days and a BBQ on Saturday after flying.
Delaware has lots of other things to offer with beautiful beaches for the wife and kids, two casinos, and lots of hotels and restaurants.
Our field is located in the White Clay Creek State Park. I just got the news from our club president that the Park Superintendent just gave us the go ahead for camping at the Great American Aerotow 8/21 to 8/24 and the Blue Hen ALES. Just be aware that no fires, cooking or alcohol will be permitted. This is the first time that we have ever been allowed to camp on the field and it is on a trial basis so we need to be on our best behavior.
Since it is part of a state park, alcohol is not permitted at our field.
More details will follow soon.
