Woodland Aero Modelers 1st 0pen House is Saturday, 6/10/17, 11-3 PM, at Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve.

We are offering FREE 2017 WAM memberships to all girls and boys who are 19 or younger by July 1ST of this year.  And remember, the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) also offers FREE AMA memberships WITH flying insurance for those who are 19 and under by July 1st.  See us for details and forms.

We’ll have Radio/Controlled (RC) aircraft of all types, flying exhibitions, R/C exhibits, AMA info, and free in-house use of R/C Simulators.   You can also try real flight training with our instructors, using WAM aircraft and WAM Buddy-Boxes.

DIRECTIONS:  From I-55, take the Lemont Rd (Main St.) exit and go about 2 miles south to the signage for Bluff Rd.  Turn east and follow the road past the security gate, which leads to our parking area.  (If the weather looks unsafe or really bad, check our web site for status of our Open House and a possible Rain Date.)

WoodlandAeroModelers.org welcomes all girls, boys, women & men to learn to fly Radio-Controlled aircraft!  We can provide training equipment for our in-house training program, and give specific suggestions on the kind of future R/C equipment that is best and most economical for YOU!
